Plus Size Thong

It got us thinking that the invention of “thong”, while good-intentioned, has some novelty attached to it. By the looks of it, this piece of small clothing is quirky and for the old-fashioned it can be a distasteful wear.

Thongs are here to stay, anyway, so much that it is making a lot of women - and some men, too – feel sexier.

Also, a bit of butt exposure is nothing compared to the comfort thongs are giving our carefree girls.

The chubby set also considers their plus size thongs as good buy because they it ideal for eliminating those nasty panty lines.

“Open panties” – that is what others would call thongs, has several types: tanga thong, g-string, v-string and the popular t-back thong. Tanga thong covers almost half of the buttocks region with the lower half of butt cheeks left exposed.

Plus-sized girls with slightly disproportionate hips will like it that a tanga eliminates that weird feeling that makes them feel as if they have a “wedgie.” The “wedgie” is common with the string variations. With only the tiny string around the hips and between the butts, and barely a small triangular piece fabric covering the front, it takes a lot of courage to wear g-string plus size thongs.

Meanwhile, the v-string is nothing but an interesting detail of fabric or accents at the top of the buttocks area, just for the heck of it but creative just the same.

The t-back is more popular as trendy, albeit naughty, beach attire. With straps stretched across the top of the buttocks region and goes right between the butts, t-backs are often chided because of its semi-nude effect.

A t- back variation which can be considered among the plus size thongs is the “Rio,” styled with straps reaching above the hips ideal for curvy women with fuller hips. Rio can be comfortable wear because it prevents slippage.

When it comes to fabrics, thongs made from lightweight pure cotton are highly recommended especially for daily wear. Look for the seamless cotton variety.

For a little show-off, pick one of those sheer silk thongs or leather thongs, if you may, to satisfy your eccentric side. Latest editions of plus size thongs use Lycra because the fabric gives sturdy support and get rids of panty lines.

Remember, thongs are not for the timid and the anxious. If it feels uncomfortable and arresting, then thongs are not your thing. But we bet you are too adventurous to never at least attempt.
